How we work
Six steps. You know the price at step two.
Rebuilding a site people rely on is mostly an exercise in not breaking things. This is the order we do it in, and what you actually get at each stage.
- 01
Audit
Free, about two days
You send us a URL. We measure what is actually there rather than what anyone remembers building.
What you get
- Real Core Web Vitals on mobile and desktop
- What it is built on, and every plugin and licence we can detect
- Security observations — exposed admin, out-of-date components, missing headers
- A full page and URL inventory
- What we would do, and roughly what it would cost
- 02
Plan
One week
Before anyone writes code, you sign off a scope. This is where the price stops being an estimate.
What you get
- A page-by-page list of what gets built
- The redirect map from old URLs to new ones
- Design direction — either yours, or ours for approval
- A fixed price and a delivery date
- 03
Rebuild
Two to five weeks
Hand-written code. Static HTML comes out the other end. No theme to fight, no builder to work around.
What you get
- Built responsive from the smallest screen up
- Accessibility checked against WCAG 2.2 AA as we go, not bolted on after
- Reviewed on a private staging URL you can share internally
- Everything in version control from the first commit
- 04
Migrate
Runs alongside the rebuild
Your content comes across. We do the moving — you are not retyping ten years of pages into a new box.
What you get
- Content moved and reformatted, images re-cut and optimised
- Every old URL either kept or redirected with a 301
- Metadata and structured data carried over
- Search Console checked before and after so nothing quietly disappears
- 05
Launch
One evening
DNS cuts over out of hours. We sit and watch it rather than going to the pub.
What you get
- Cut over outside business hours, old site kept warm
- Redirects, forms and analytics verified live
- Rollback ready — if it looks wrong we go back in minutes
- You get the repository and the credentials
- 06
Maintain
Ongoing
We host it, watch it and keep it fast. This is the part that decides whether a rebuild was worth it.
What you get
- Hosting, SSL, DNS and daily backups on our UK infrastructure
- Uptime monitoring with a response inside a business day
- Your content-change allowance, used by emailing a person
- An annual review of speed, search and what changed
The bit nobody else puts in writing
Most rebuild horror stories are not about design. They are about the traffic that vanished because three hundred URLs changed and nobody mapped them, or the form that quietly stopped sending for five weeks.
- Every URL on your current site is inventoried before we start.
- Every one of them either keeps working or 301s to its replacement.
- Forms are tested live, on the real domain, on launch night.
- Analytics and Search Console are compared before and after.
Find out what your site is actually costing you.
Send us the address. We will come back with your real speed scores, what it is built on, and what we would do about it. No charge, no pitch deck.
